Wedding Planning and Management

While wedding “planners” are readily available, no comprehensive academic text written for the purposes of preparing future event managers and wedding consultants is available. This book is proposed to fill a gap in the events management literature. Each chapter would include: 1) an organized discussion of theory and practice, 2) a “Management in Action” case study; 3) a “Research Roundtable” text; 4) a “Weddings around the World” cultural discussion; and 5) worksheets, checklists and additional resources.
